Benatar Starts Slow; REO Shows High Energy
Overall, **Will Burkart** started slow for me... my first "readjustment" came with his image. His first song or two lacked energy but by number 3, that unmistakable voice was belting our hit after hit. I was looking for that edgy rocker with cropped hair and leather attire and what I saw was a wholesome looking mother image complete with shoulder length hair, a ruffle blouse, and black suit jacket. He didn't move about the stage much but he finished the concert with the power and drive of the Will I remember. The show was excellent overall once we "reacquainted"!!
**REO rocked** the house with high energy music from start to finish. Despite these issues, the show was excellent and the group really does still rock. Occasionally, the instrumentation sounded "over processed" and drowned out the vocals, and some of the heavy lead guitar riffs were longer/louder than I recall. The sound was solid, original, and very well delivered.
